Blaze Goraj

Project management trainer who turns theory into practice

Blaze Goraj

About me

If your projects are slipping into chaos, deadlines keep moving, and your team is losing momentum, there is good news. You do not need another lecture. You need practical experience that changes how your team works.

My name is Blaze Goraj. I am a certified trainer and management practitioner. For over 15 years, I have supported leaders, managers, and teams in delivering results without unnecessary pressure. I do not believe in slide decks and textbook definitions. I believe in learning through experience.

From a Garage Startup to Fortune 500

My journey into project management did not start in a corporate office. It began in the 90s, with my own computer business, long hair, and big ambitions. That was where I learned, through real mistakes, that business does not tolerate chaos and that every project must deliver real value.

Over time, I had the opportunity to work with large international organizations. I supported companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Electronic Data Systems, and Mondelez International. I managed teams across the globe, managing program portfolios worth over 100 million dollars.

How do I work

Many companies invest in training where people return with a certificate, but little actually changes. My approach is different. It is based on the Kolb learning cycle. Teams learn by working through real challenges, testing ideas, and drawing conclusions from experience.

What sets my workshops apart:

  • Business Games and simulations: Instead of lectures, participants work in realistic scenarios. I use simulations such as Raven 13, MIR ’91, and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. Teams experience the impact of decisions, risk, and communication in real time, and then develop their own solutions.
  • Combining methods with human skills: I teach how to use tools such as Agile, Scrum, and PMO practices, while also focusing on engagement, team dynamics, and motivation. This balance makes the approach practical and applicable in real work.
  • Immediate, measurable results: The tools used in the workshops can be applied right away. Teams reduce silos, bring more structure into their work, and accelerate execution of key goals.

One meeting, many needs – how to build consistent teamwork

A two-day event in Barcelona demonstrated how to combine team-building for a remote team with the communication of a new strategy in an engaging, experience-based format. This case study describes how, through business games and a well-designed program, the team was able to build relationships, develop a shared understanding of the direction of the initiative, and lay a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Developing design skills in the marketing team

The Allegro marketing team works in a fast-paced, multi-threaded project environment. The goal was to strengthen project management skills while maintaining a creative work style. The challenge was to combine spontaneity and speed with methodical planning. The program consisted of two coherent workshops based on realistic business simulations. The games allowed participants to practice planning, role division, communication, and decision-making under pressure. Participants observed their own styles of cooperation and transferred their conclusions to their daily work. The result was increased project awareness, better cooperation, and the ability to combine creativity with a structured approach.
